The Diary of a Nobody is a comedy novel written by English brothers George and Weedon Grossmith. In 1888–89, it began as a discontinuous serial in Punch magazine. In 1892, initially showed up in book shape, with expanded content and included outlines. The Diary records the day by day occasions in the lives of a Charles Pooter, his wife Carrie, his child Lupin, London clerk and various companions and colleagues over a time of 15 months.
